“Better Than Sex” Cake
Whether or not this cake is actually better than sex depends on what kind of sex you are getting. However, one bite of this cake will cause your toes to curl and your eyes to roll into the back of your head. It’s El Diablo’s favorite cake and making it for him guarantees that I’m in for a night of lovin’.
Ingredients
- One box yellow cake mix (and items required to prepare according to package directions)
- 20 0z. crushed pineapple
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding (and items required to prepare according to package directions)
- 8 oz. whipped topping, thawed
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans, divided
- 1 1/2 c. toasted flaked coconut, divided
Instructions
Prepare and bake cake mix in a 9×13 pan according to package directions. While hot, punch pencil sized holes over the top of the cake (I usually use a straw to do this). Boil the sugar with the pineapple and its juice. Pour over the hot cake and cool.
Once cool, sprinkle half of the pecans over the cake. Mix pudding according to directions and add 1 c. of the toasted coconut. Spread over cake. Top with whipped topping, 1/2 c. coconut and the remaining pecans.
Keep refrigerated. Serves 12. CAKE ORGY!
